As the runner-up prize winner in the first Saitama Shintoshi Jazz Vocal Contest 2006, William Silk has been invited back to Saitama to perform as guest vocalist at the 2nd Jazz vocal Contest and switch on the Saitama Shintoshin Winter illuminations. This will be a big outdoor event.
Last year, thousands of event spectators enjoyed William Silk's tour de force while performing the Kurt Weill standard Mack the Knife. This year will see William Silk perform with Beyond the Sea big band and the Inagaki Jiro Jazz ensemble before the main event.
